This painting shows, in a symbolic way, the human spine with its twenty four main vertebrae and their spiritual significance.
The lines spiralling up connect the bottom, middle, and top series of vertebrae.The first eight correlate to “movement”, the middle ones to “feeling”, and the top ones to “thinking”.
In this painting, all levels of the different physical, emotional and psychic aspects are connected harmoniously.
At the very bottom we see a coiled snake, representing what the yogis call the “Kundalini”.
The completed energy dynamics between “heaven” and “earth” are indicated by the flower inside the golden sphere at the very top of the painting.
