This painting symbolizes that which remains unchangeable: the seer, the watcher... Events come and go, but the one who sees them, is unbounded by time and space.
The text on the bottom of the painting was taken from the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, the founder of Yoga. Translated from Sanskrit this text reads as follows:
“Consciousness distinguishes its own awareness and intelligence when it reflects and identifies its source -the changeless seer- and assumes his form”.
